About me
I first studied jewelry making with the talented Sarah Obrecht in a
Phoenix Parks & Recreation class. Then, I took specialized classes
at the Mendocino Art Center, Penland, and the Salzburg Summer
Academy. I also assisted two master goldsmiths for a year in
Northern Italy.
My work is, by nature, very contemporary. I love geometrical
shapes, unusual stones, and novel stone settings. I've made pieces
using gold, silver, steel, glass, acrylic, and precious/semi-precious
stones.
I am deeply infuenced by the Padova school of goldsmiths,
especially by  Francesco Pavan, and Giampaulo Babetto.
I rarely make multiples, so each of my pieces is often unique.
